Francisco Abularach

Francisco joined Antin in 2021 and is a member of the Investment Committee. He is a board member of Mid Cap portfolio company Empire Access. 

Francisco is a recognized leader in the infrastructure sector. He brings over 25 years of experience at Citigroup, where he spearheaded the establishment of the bank’s infrastructure practice.  During this time, he advised on the successful completion of sector-transforming transactions across the entire infrastructure asset class, including in the utilities, energy, environment, transportation, telecommunications and social sectors.

He was most recently Global Co-head of Infrastructure at Citigroup. From 2012 to 2019, he was European Co-head of Infrastructure.  Prior to this he held a number of other leadership roles including Head of CEEMEA M&A, Head of Power & Utilities M&A, and Head of Iberian M&A.
