Antin announces new Senior Partner
04th Sep 2017
PARIS, France and LONDON, United Kingdom: Antin is pleased to announce a further reinforcement of the partnership with the addition of Kevin Genieser as Senior Partner, effective 4th September.
Kevin joins Antin following a 20 year career at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director and the Group Head of Power & Utilities EMEA in the Investment Banking Department. Under Kevin’s leadership, the group was ranked first in European M&A in 2016. During his long career at Morgan Stanley and in his prior role at Credit Suisse First Boston, Kevin advised on over 40 completed transactions in the power, utilities and clean technology sectors in Europe and across the Americas.
Kevin is an American national and holds a degree from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He will be based in London and will further strengthen Antin’s sourcing and execution capabilities, particularly in the energy sector, given his deep network of relationships with corporates in this space.
Alain Rauscher, CEO and Managing Partner, commented “We are delighted to welcome such a high-calibre professional to Antin, knowing that Kevin will bring a complementary skill set and experience to the Partner team. This exceptional external partner hire does not affect our focus on internal promotions, as evidenced by the recent promotion of Nicolas Mallet from Investment Director to Partner earlier this year”.
Mark Crosbie, Managing Partner, added “Having known Kevin for 16 years and previously worked extensively with him during my time at Centrica, I have no doubt that we have hired an exceptional talent who will fit well with the Antin culture. His experience and contacts will prove a great addition to the Antin team”.
This hire brings the Antin team to over 60 professionals. The Partnership now comprises two Managing Partners, four Senior Partners and five Partners.
